Coaching Supervision

Supervision is a reflective, collaborative and conversational space where coaches (supervisees) work with a qualified supervisor to reflect on, explore and enhance their coaching practice. This is with a view to gain new insights through a 'super-vision' lens for continuous improvement and personal and professional development.

Often, supervision includes the exploration and enquiry into real life client case studies, client relationships, resource possibilities, the coach's well-being and ethical dilemmas.

As supervisors, we help coaches to surface limited mindsets and assumptions, we highlight bases and blind spots and help reduce distractions to be fully present with your coachees.

We typically model our supervision on three key aspects and you, as a Coach, can focus your supervision sessions on any, or all, aspects according to your individual needs.

1. Educative

2. Administrative

3. Restorative

Educative

This helps a coach's self-development, understanding their involvement and dynamic in their coaching sessions and developing fresh objectivity and perspectives on their practice. We promote learning and encourage exploration to upgrade skills and think through new angles and different ways of working. We aim to develop theoretical knowledge, personal attributes and self-awareness.

Restorative

The restorative part of supervision focuses on improving the coach's well-being. Often, taking time to think about current practice can lead to greater serenity and reassurance. We can help bring awareness to your stress levels, limited beliefs or unhelpful thinking, and help you find better balance. We can support with inevitable doubts and insecurities, and disputes or issues that may arise from your coaching practice.

Administrative

This aspect of supervision supports a coach's adherence to policy and procedures and their correct, effective and appropriate implementation of this policy. We also look at the promotion and maintenance of good standards, boundaries, ethics, and ensuring protection from harm.

Individual & Group Supervision

Individual coaching is for between 1-2 hours per session and we suit your specific requirements.

You can attend our ‘open group’ sessions individually or you can book closed group sessions for your team of internal coaches.

Closed supervision is booked in a series of four-six sessions.

The groups run subject to there being a minimum number of 4 coachee bookings.

Supervision sessions are capped at 4 coaches per group.
